Three days at booth #1726 in Las Vegas, talking to operators about one question: are your DC fast-charging sites actually profitable? Here's what we took home.

1. One chart did most of the talking.
One simple chart led most conversations (see below) - energy profit plotted against driver experience score, across site power. Because it puts a shape on something they feel every month: past a certain point, adding power costs more than it returns.
2. Demand charges respond to software first.
Demand charges are the line item operators raise fastest, and the assumed fix is usually CAPEX heavy. The conversations that landed hardest at the booth were the ones where we showed what a driver-aware EMS can do - reduce the demand charges and deliver the energy drivers came for.
3. The digital twin is what people booked meetings for.
We got some increadible results replaying a real site's own history to show what a different energy strategy would have produced. Meeting slots filled around it, and the free site simulations we offered at the show came out of those conversations. It remains the fastest way we know to turn a question about profitability into a data driver decisions.
Thanks to everyone who stopped by. The work has just begun.
